Kratka biografija

Rođen 17. novembra 1982. godine u Rumi. Osnovnu školu "Dušan Jerković" i Gimnaziju "Stevan Puzić" završio u Rumi. Fakultet tehničkih nauka u Novom Sadu, Departman za računarstvo i automatiku, upisuje 2011. godine. U avgustu 2006. godine završava integrisane osnovne i master akademske studije na Odseku za automatiku i upravljanje sistemima, sa tezom "Primena Lagranževe leme u rešavanju problema optimalnog upravljanja kontinualnim dinamičkim sistemima". Doktorske studije na Fakultetu tehničkih nauka, studijski program Automatika i upravljanje sistemima upisuje u januaru 2007. Zvanje doktora nauka stiče u maju 2011. godine. Doktorirao sa tezom "Optimalno i suboptimalno upravljanje klasom sistema sa raspodeljenim parametrima" pod mentorstvom prof. dr Zorana Jeličića.

Osnovnu oblast profesionalnog interesovanja čine dinamički sistemi i teorija upravljanja uopšte, posebno frakcioni račun i sistemi necelog (frakcionog) reda. Takođe se bavi nekonveksnom optimizacijom, naročito stohastičkim i evolutivnim optimizacionim algoritmima.

Scientific and Professional Work

During his career he has been primarily involved with problems regarding modeling, optimization and control, in various contexts. His main research interests are currently concentrated in the following areas:

·         Applications of infinite dimensional (linear) models, especially those based on fractional integro-differential operators, in physical and engineering modeling, and control. Numerical algorithms for identification of such models.

·         Global, non-convex optimization techniques, especially Particle Swarm optimizers and Genetic algorithms. Application of these techniques to problems of identification and control design.

·         Application of classical identification algorithms, as well as various forms of soft-computing and computational intelligence techniques, in modeling, identification of industrial processes and equipment. Especially, he is interested in application of those techniques in process monitoring and fault detection.

He has been the primary investigator/project lead/principal coordinator in the following projects:

1.       New robust methods for fault detection in dynamical systems with uncertain models applied in generation anf storage of energy from renewable sources. Bilateral cooperation between R. Serbiaand R. Italy, 2013-2015, contract no.80-00-566 /2013-09/14. (participated as primary researched of the Serbian team)

2.       Distributed sensory network for early detection of faults and unwanted events. Project financed by the provincional government of Vojvodina, 2015.

1.       Paper „Optimalno upravljanje problemima kvadratnog tipa“ co-authored with Z. D: Jeličićem and D. Petrovačkim, awarded as the best paper written by a young researcher at ETRAN 2006.

2.       Technical solution “Self-Adaptive Process Monitoring System (SAMS)”,  presented at NI Days, Belgrade 2013. organized by National Instruments company awarded as the best in South-Eastern Europe.

3.       Paper „Optimization of distributed order fractional PID controller under constraints on robustness and sensitivity to measurement noise“ presented atInternational Conference on Fractional Differentiation and its Applicationin Catania (Sicily, Italy) in 2014 co-authored with B. 4.       In 2013. awarded with „Momčilo Moma Novković“ prize by Faculty of Technical Sciences for results achieved in teaching and research.

5.       In 2016. awarded by Faculty of Technical Sciences as the best teacher.
